01

Waterproofing details

Pay particular attention to pipe penetrations, corners and parapet terminations. Combine substrate repairs, detail reinforcement and continuous coating into one system.

02

Industrial protection

For steelwork, tanks and pipes, establish exposure media, temperature and surface condition before selecting a primer and polyurea system.

03

Local coating repairs

Identify the extent and cause of damage, remove failed areas, and verify compatibility and overlap adhesion before repairing an existing coating.

APPLICATION GUIDE

Five stages of single-component application.

01

01 / Define service conditions

Specify the substrate, area, indoor or outdoor exposure, colour and service requirements to select the grade and system.

02

02 / Prepare the surface

Remove laitance, dust, oil and loose material, and repair defects. Derust metal in accordance with the coating system.

03

03 / Trial and prime

Check compatibility and adhesion in a representative trial area. Select a suitable primer and treat pores and details.

04

04 / Apply controlled coats

Follow the instructions for tools, coat thickness and recoating intervals. Check corners, overlaps and terminations.

05

05 / Cure and inspect

Allow the specified curing period and inspect appearance, thickness and required properties before putting the coating into service.

This overview supports project planning and does not replace grade-specific instructions. Follow the safety data sheet for protective equipment and ventilation.
